The Book as an Object
The brief was to design 3 books in a series to be presented as a limited edition for collectors. The Author I chose was Gunter Grass. The books were made by hand. Various textures and tones to reflect the story of the books. The books were presented in an acrylic box with the destruction and rubble of the war sat underneath the box.
